Structure Fire – Upper Burnie Tasmania Police

At approximately 3.30am on Sunday 18th February 2018 police and Tas Fire Service were called to a unit structure fire located at Federal Street, Upper Burnie.

Upon the arrival of emergency services the unit was found to be engulfed with fire. The unit was vacant at the time with nobody injured during the incident.

Considerable damage has been caused to the unit and the fire has been deemed as suspicious. Police are currently investigating the matter.

Police are appealing to any witnesses who observed any person/s or vehicles acting suspicious in the area to contact Burnie CIB.
